Virtual Realm Method

Last checked May 26, 2026

Virtual Realm is a compounding mode

Small card decisions snowball. Early economy and safe scaling usually beat greedy damage picks that cannot survive bad floors.

  • Early floors: stabilize with cheap upgrades and economy.
  • Mid floors: stack damage cards only after your team has coverage.
  • Boss floors: prioritize single-target pressure and control.
  • Relic farming: consistency matters more than one perfect high-roll run.

Verification note: Virtual Realm recommendations are based on current UTDX relic farming needs and public unit-role tier lists from PGG, Beebom, and Destructoid. Card names can shift by update, so treat this as a priority guide.

Economy Cards

Safe scaling

Pick early if they help you upgrade faster without dying. Economy wins long VR runs.

Risk pick

Only take risky cards when your team already clears normal waves comfortably.

Choose boring consistency first
  • Floors 1-10: take economy and safe damage.
  • Floors 11-30: add cooldown/range if lanes start leaking.
  • Boss floors: prioritize single-target damage and control.
  • Relic farming: repeat consistent routes instead of gambling every card.

Frequently Asked Questions

Should I always pick economy cards?
Early, usually yes. Later, damage and control can be better if your economy is already solved.
Is Virtual Realm required for relics?
It is the key farming mode for relic progression, so stable clears matter a lot.
Why do my high rarity units still lose?
Coverage gaps. VR punishes teams missing air, boss, economy, or control roles.
